Who we are
Astral Moments ("we", "us") sells custom star map artwork as instant digital downloads and optional printed posters. You can reach us any time at zayafactory@gmail.com or by mail at Piata Stefan Cel Mare 5, Ap. 33, Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
Information we collect
- Order details — your name, email address, and (for printed posters only) your shipping address.
- Star map inputs — the date, time, place and personal message you choose for your artwork, plus the finished file.
- Payment information — processed by our payment provider. We never see or store full card numbers.
- Device and usage data — basic log data such as browser type and pages viewed, used to keep the site working.
- Local storage on your device — your bag and your saved design draft are stored in your own browser so nothing is lost if you refresh.
- Marketing consent — if you opt in, we record your email, the consent wording you agreed to, and the date.
How we use it
We use your information to create and deliver your artwork, send order and download emails, provide customer support, prevent fraud and abuse, meet tax and accounting obligations, and — only with your consent — send occasional marketing emails.
Who we share it with
We share only what is needed with service providers acting on our instructions: our hosting and database provider, our email delivery provider, our payment provider, our print partner (for printed orders), and a place-name lookup service used when you search for a city. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Cookies and tracking
We use strictly necessary browser storage for your bag and design draft. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear this data at any time in your browser settings; see our Cookie Notice for details.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as required by tax and accounting law (generally seven years). Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe. Design drafts stay in your own browser until you clear them.
Security
We use encrypted connections, access controls and row-level database permissions. No method of transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us data, email zayafactory@gmail.com and we will delete it.
Your privacy rights
Wherever you live, you can email zayafactory@gmail.com to access, correct, download or delete your personal information, or to withdraw marketing consent. We respond within 45 days.
United States — state privacy rights
If you live in California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana or another state with a comprehensive privacy law, you have the right to:
- know what personal information we collect, use and disclose;
- request a copy of that information in a portable format;
- correct inaccurate information;
- delete your information, subject to legal retention duties;
- opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising — we do not sell or share your personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of;
- be free from discrimination for exercising these rights.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA): in the preceding 12 months we collected identifiers (name, email, postal address), commercial information (purchase history) and internet activity (basic log data), for the business purposes described above. We disclose these categories only to the service providers listed above. We do not sell personal information and do not knowingly sell the information of consumers under 16. You may use an authorised agent to submit a request; we may ask for written permission and verify your identity.
To exercise any right, email zayafactory@gmail.com with the subject "Privacy request". We may need to verify your identity before we act. If we deny a request you may appeal by replying to our decision.
